Mick Lister is a contemporary songwriter and producer with an extensive portfolio of work
Mick started his professional career with Warner Brothers signed band ‘The Truth’, penning several Top 40 hits in the UK and the US. After successful world tours spanning a decade, Mick naturally transitioned to songwriting for artists across numerous genres, including Amy Winehouse, Cynthia Erivo, The Beat, BBMak, Tony Hadley, Ramin Karimloo and Steve Balsamo.
Mick’s path soon led him to film sync, writing and producing music that resonated with film and TV producers. This began with his song ‘Fly Before You Fall’ co-written with Cynthia Erivo, which was featured in the film and trailer for Beyond The Lights (Relativity Media). Mick also secured a pivotal sync in Hollywood smash A Simple Favor (Lionsgate) with his song ‘Under My Skin’. He has since written and produced songs for hundreds of feature films and television series.
Most notably, Mick has had songs featured in films and television shows such as: A Simple Favor (Lionsgate), Beyond The Lights (Relativity Media), The Bank Job (Paramount Pictures), Joyride (Lionsgate), Nocturnal Animals (Universal Pictures), A Perfect Day (Universal Pictures), The Hidden (New Line Cinema), 21 Jump Street (Fox), Virgin River (Netflix), Good Girls (Netflix), Penny Dreadful (Sky Atlantic), SEAL Team (CBS), Future Man (Hulu), Skins (E4), Bloodline (Netflix), Halt And Catch Fire (AMC), Titans (DC Entertainment), Scandal (ABC), Cable Girls (Netflix) and The Marked Heart (Netflix).
